Buffalo Audiotex Changes Name to
BUFFALO INTERNATIONAL
and Moves to Larger Offices
Valhalla, NY Sept. 1, 1996 --- The success of Buffalo¹s powerful predictive dialing engine has allowed the company to broaden its marketing efforts and raise its image. Buffalo Audiotex is now Buffalo International -- reflecting its expanding international business, new software product developments, and larger offices through which to service its customers.
According to David Friedman, Buffalo's VP of Marketing & Sales, "We've taken a giant step in order to position ourselves for the coming revolution in call center technology."
Unlike most predictive dialers, Buffalo¹s Open Architecture Predictive Dialing Engine (OAPDE) is conceived as a totally open system for use by VARs and call centers to build their own complete solutions. In addition to its successful OAPDE, Buffalo¹s new platform, OTS (Object Telephony Software), adds
inbound (ACD), Voice Processing (for messaging and IVR), and enhanced predictive dialing capabilities in one integrated system.
Buffalo is also a provider of switching platforms for calling cards, debit cards, and international call back. And most recently, has begun shipping its OAVLE (Open Architecture Voice Logging Engine) which permits real time instant digital recording and playback from within the call center application running at the desktop.
