Buffalo to Announce VoIP and the Telephony Connection Returns

April 2000-Valhalla, NY-Buffalo International, Inc. creator of the award winning Object Telephony Server (OTS™) will exhibit at Communications Solutions Expo in Washington, DC on the 27th and 28th of April.  New product news includes the availability of IP Telephony.  Back again for its third appearance will be “The Telephony Connection”. 

OTS now supports VoIP in contact centers.  The solution is currently being tested at a customer site in Texas.  The small-scale test is successfully running along side a traditional 500 seat OTS installation.  “Once the test phase is complete, we plan to scale the server to maximum capacity (400 ports).  We also plan to change over four additional 120-seat OTS servers in two different contact centers to IP.  We are excited to be building this virtual switch connecting two contact centers;” said David Friedman, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Buffalo International, Inc.
